Venue Description:
Old Billingsgate is an extraordinary and unique venue, situated in a prime position on the River Thames with views across to Tower Bridge, London Bridge and the South Bank. A fantastic clear open space combined with modern architecture make it the perfect venue for all types of corporate and private event. The elegant nineteenth century Grade 2 listed structure has been sensitively refurbished by Lord Rogers to provide approximately 7,800 sq m (84,000 sq.ft) of flexible high specification space. If the weather is warm, an outside reception area is available on the venue’s private terrace. Reception drinks can be served on the terrace with patio furniture and lush green plants completing the feel. Should the weather be cooler however, your guests are able to enjoy the indoor reception space which is complemented by gentle atmospheric lighting along with a large bar, cloakroom desk and poseur tables
A divide will create the definition between the East Hall and the West Hall offering two separate event spaces ideal for reception drinks followed by dinner and dancing. During this summer run of June 2nd – 18th, Old Billingsgate will come complete with stage, dance floor, lighting, sound system and AV package making it an ideal venue choice for awards, fundraising dinners with auctions, presentations, conferences and parties
