The East Wintergarden, a spectacular 27m high arched glass atrium opened Autumn 2003. This unique and stylish venue boasts 682 sq meters of patterned marble floor, steamed beech wood wall panelling and views overlooking Jubilee Park and the waterfront promenade. The East Wintergarden has a light and elegant atmosphere perfect for exhibitions, cocktail parties, product launches and receptions.

The venue is located between two high-rise buildings (40 and 50 Bank Street) and above the Jubilee Place Shopping Mall. At its highest point the Main Space glass atrium measures 27m and at its lowest point (under the gallery) the ceiling height is 3.4m. The gallery level spans the full width of the Wintergarden (22m wide x 12m deep) with a ceiling height of approximately 20m to the decorative sail.

There are two small anterooms, one with single toilet & sink, available for event organisers and artist dressing space and the other with power and plumbing for catering.

The Promenade Room at The East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf is a meeting room adjacent to the main venue space and is equipped with the following:

• 1 x 50 inch plasma display wall mounted
• 1 x DVD player
• 1 x VHS multiformat video player / recorder
• 1 x laptop c/w Microsoft Office 2000
• 2 x desktop radio microphones
• 2 x radio lapel microphones
• 2 x JBL speakers – wall mounted

All equipment can be remotely controlled from a wall panel situated next to the plasma screen and the laptop has a wireless mouse facility.

The room is fully air conditioned and carpeted and has electric roller blinds on each window.  Lighting control is zonal and can be dimmed to a chosen level on the installed wall panel.
