Venue Description:
Situated at Horse Guards Whitehall, between Trafalgar Square and Downing Street the Museum lies at the very heart of historic London in magnificent mid 18th century vaulted stables. Visitors can see troopers at work in the stables (through a large glazed partition) preparing for sentry duty and can even try on parts of the uniform. An experience with something for everyone to enjoy along with the hourly sentry changes outside presenting colourful, traditional and uniquely British pageantry. The Household Cavalry Museum is Whitehall's 'secret gem' and can accommodate evening stand up receptions and small intimate dinners, Christmas parties.

The Household cavalry museum houses three galleries.The Stables Gallery has a view through to the working stables, while Gallery 1 showcases the dual ceremonial & operational roles of the Household Cavalry. Gallery 2 covers some of the finest achievements in British military history.
